Meet Brittany Salley

Brittany Salley is an Apprenticeship Consultant with Apprenticeship Carolina, serving companies within the counties of Florence-Darlington Technical College and Northeastern Technical College.

Brittany has been with Apprenticeship Carolina since November of 2021, previously in the role as a Apprenticeship Implementation Specialist. Prior to her arrival at Apprenticeship Carolina, Brittany spent over seven years working within the technical college system. There she held the roles of Admissions Recruiter and Academic/Career counselor. In addition, she has worked in the capacity of sales for corporate firms. Throughout the years, Brittany has fostered relationships and partnered with the community to introduce workforce-based learning in new ways.

Please tell us about your job.

As an Apprenticeship Consultant I assist employers with the registration of apprenticeship programs. This guidance is provided through phases, which will ultimately produce a customize training model that will meet the needs of the organization.    

 

What drew you to apprenticeship?

The concept of “Earn While You Learn” is what made apprenticeship so intriguing. Employers are given the opportunity to invest in the individuals within the surrounding community as well as develop a skilled workforce pipeline. 

 

What is something that you enjoy or appreciate the most about being an apprenticeship consultant?

I enjoy making connections with diverse populations as well as assist companies with developing a solution to their workforce needs.
