Multicraft Maintenance Technician
Volvo began its multicraft maintenance apprenticeship program in 2019. Omar Mamani is the first graduate to come out of that program. As a highly motivated apprentice and Omar completed the 3 year program in just 14 months.
Omar's favorite part of the apprenticeship program was the on the job training. He has always liked mechatronics and robotics, which is one of the reasons he applied to be in the program.

"The biggest challenge of the apprenticeship program is attending school and working at the same time.” His advice for others going through the program is to “take it one day at a time.”
